Microbiology Society Early Career Summer Conference 2026

Chris was invited to give a career talk at the Microbiology Society's Early Career (EC) Forum Summer Conference 2026, held at The Exchange, University of Birmingham, on 6–7 July.

Designed and led by early career researchers, the conference provided a welcoming and supportive environment for undergraduate, Master's and PhD students to present their work for the first time and gain experience of scientific conferences.
