Chris speaks at Lister Institute event in Dublin

Chris recently participated in a Lister Institute event at the Royal Irish Academy in Dublin, helping to promote opportunities for early career biomedical researchers across Ireland.

The event brought together current and former Lister Fellows, members of the Institute's Scientific Committee and researchers from across Ireland to highlight the Lister Research Prize, which supports ambitious, curiosity-driven biomedical research. Chris joined a panel of Fellows to share his experiences of the Lister Fellowship programme and discuss the impact that the Institute's flexible funding has had on his research career. The event also encouraged researchers to consider applying for the 2027 Lister Research Prize and explored ways that universities can further support early career researchers.
