Outstanding Talk Prize for Miguel at Europic 2026

Miguel recently travelled to Brno, Czech Republic, to attend Europic 2026, an international conference bringing together researchers working on picornaviruses from across the globe.

Miguel presented his latest PhD research during the meeting, joining a packed programme of talks covering a wide range of topics in picornavirus biology. His presentation was recognised with an Outstanding Talk Prize, marking another exciting achievement during the final stages of his PhD. As well as sharing his research, the conference provided a great opportunity to meet fellow researchers, exchange ideas and build new collaborations within the picornavirus community.
